The Gallagher Legacy
For more than five decades Glenn and Iris Gallagher were strong supporters of The Ohio Eastern Star family. In 1939 Iris began her service and, in 1968 Glenn served as Worthy Grand Patron. Iris was present in 1951 for the groundbreaking of The Ohio Eastern Star Home. Iris honored Glenn’s memory in 2001 by presenting a very special gift to The Ohio Eastern Star Home to fund a beautiful community center. With this act of generosity, The Glenn A. Gallagher Centre became their legacy- a lasting legacy for all our community to enjoy.
Commitment
The Glenn A. Gallagher Centre is proud to be a community partner with Knox County and the surrounding area. We’ve created a special venue for businesses and individuals to host meetings, wedding receptions, reunions, anniversary celebrations, office parties, marketing events and other gatherings – both social and professional. Locally, our space is unique in design and function. We can accommodate seating for 240 guests in our full ballroom or tuck a party of twelve into a cozy classroom. Business functions have access to Wi-Fi, overhead projector with 16′ drop-down screen. Our conference tables, comfortable chairs and catering service can help make any meeting more productive. Our spacious dining tables, dance floor, fully-stocked bar and elegant tableware will make any event more festive. With the addition of fine cuisine offered at competitive pricing, The Glenn A. Gallagher Centre is truly a full service facility.

Amy Moran
Amy is a lifelong resident of Mount Vernon. She graduated from the University of Akron with a degree in Marketing and Sales Technology. Shortly after graduation she married and began her journey as a stay-at-home mom and part-time fitness instructor.
During those years she ventured into the business aspect of fitness and partnered to own and operate a fitness center. Amy has always been passionate about hospitality and has spent countless hours over the years planning and hosting a variety of gatherings for both small and very large groups.
She joined The Gallagher Family in 2016 as a server and now serves as the Event Coordinator. Amy brings an enthusiastic, optimistic passion for gathering and will help make your special event as easy as possible.

Gede Anak Agung
Chef Arya possess over twenty years of international culinary experience in a range of industries including cruise ships, hotels and event centers, as well as a variety of restaurants resulting in a mastery of several cuisines ranging from Classic French to Sushi. He enjoys learning and perfecting his skills while maintaining strict controls and leading a team of like-minded individuals.
With their combined efforts Natalie, Arya and Amy will help make your special event as easy as possible-allowing you to be part of the memories created.
